Ayesha Bari
Director of Transmission and Interconnection
Ayesha is the Director of Transmission and Interconnection at Gridstor, where she leads the development of interconnection strategy and due diligence processes. With over a decade of experience in renewable energy and transmission development, she has spearheaded the due diligence of over 7.5 GW of wind, solar, and energy storage projects, from greenfield to energization.
Before joining Gridstor, Ayesha held key roles in the industry, including Manager of Interconnection at Recurrent Energy, Lead Resource Interconnection Services at DNV Energy, Transmission Planner at Energy Services, HV Engineer at Doosan Power Systems India Limited, and Intern at Midcontinent Independent System Operator.
Ayesha has an active Professional Engineer’s license in the states of California and Texas. She holds a Masters in Power Systems from North Carolina State University and is currently pursuing an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas. She has been actively involved in industry activities at NERC, ACP, IEEE PES, Young Professionals, and WRISE.
