Brad McCandless
Project Development Manager
Brad comes to GridStor with 3+ years of experience in developing standalone storage projects in the U.S. Prior to joining GridStor, Brad worked as a developer with Hecate Grid, a Chicago-based IPP specializing in standalone storage. Brad worked on all aspects of project development including real estate, permitting, environmental work, interconnection management, revenue/offtake, and M&A for projects spanning CAISO, WECC, ERCOT, and PJM. Before joining Hecate Grid, Brad worked in climate change research and infrastructure consulting. Brad received his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University and his Master of Public Policy (MPP) with a certificate in Climate Policy from the University of Chicago.
