Nicole Carrigan
Director of Procurement & Contracts
Nicole serves as GridStor’s Director of Procurement & Contracts and is a highly accomplished legal practitioner dedicated to supporting domestic renewable energy initiatives through the provision of strategic procurement projects and contract negotiation associated with development, construction, operations, and asset management for BESS, Solar, Wind and Natural Gas. Drawing on over a decade of experience in the energy sector Nicole is leading the charge for establishing best in class supply/procurement contract drafting and negotiation strategies and she is responsible for implementing systems to manage enterprise-wide supply chain and supply risk management, sourcing and purchasing best practices at GridStor.
Since transitioning into the energy sector in 2013, Nicole has led procurement and portfolio management across a variety of energy projects, including conventional and renewable PPA contracts and IT&T procurement. She has also advised utilities on supply chain risk and compliance, and supported contract negotiation and post-sale execution for a leading solar provider.
Before entering the clean energy space, Nicole began her career in private and public/administrative practice and endeavored to practice civil rights law. A long-standing advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, she works with private and nonprofit organizations to expand career pathways and business opportunities in the clean energy sector. Nicole holds a J.D. and partial L.L.M. degrees from Purdue Global University and Concord Law School respectively.
