Senior Manager, Procurement & Contracts
Nicole is a highly accomplished legal practitioner dedicated to supporting domestic renewable energy initiatives through the provision of strategic procurement projects and contract negotiation associated with development, construction, operations, and asset management. Growing up in a rural agricultural community, Nicole was motivated to create a better future for her family and her community. After beginning her career focused on civil rights litigation, Nicole transitioned into clean energy in 2013 as a procurement specialist for a geothermal IPP. Over her career she has led portfolio management for conventional and renewable PPA contracts and IT&T procurement; advised utilities on supply chain risk management compliance; and led contract origination and post-sale transaction management for a leading solar PV provider. Nicole has been a pioneering DEI leader, working with various private and nonprofit organizations to increase career opportunities for minority men and women, create inclusive cultures, and develop job-ready talent pipelines and business opportunities in renewable energy industries. She holds a JD and partial LLM degrees from Purdue Global University and Concord Law School respectively.
