Esteban Santos
VP of Transmission and Interconnection
Esteban has broad experience in transmission planning, load and generation interconnections, and the development of energy storage assets. Before joining Gridstor, Esteban worked with Hunt Energy for 10 years, leading transmission planning and interconnection efforts in ERCOT and LATAM. At Hunt, Esteban contributed to integrating more than 4 GW of renewable resources and the development of 500 MWh of energy storage assets in ERCOT. Additionally, Esteban spent two years with DNV working with private developers, utilities, and ISOs on power and transmission development initiatives.
Esteban holds a BSc. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Power Systems in the State of Texas.
