Chris Baker
Senior Director, Engineering
Chris is an electrical engineer with education and experience in renewable energy systems; accumulating more than 14 years of experience with over 500 projects deployed amassing more than approximately 4GW of projects. Prior to joining Gridstor, Chris led the engineering and technical activities for esVolta, an energy storage IPP where he saw projects through development to operations. Chris also worked for battery manufacturer Powin as a project manager and application engineer where he was involved in the deployment of more than 70 projects. Chris began designing and performing OE duties for renewable projects when he was at HDR as a project engineer. Chris has a bachelors in Renewable Energy Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology.
