Brett Rudder
Director of Risk & Forecasting
As Director of Risk & Forecasting at GridStor, Brett leads the company’s efforts in evaluating market exposures and optimizing project and portfolio performance through advanced forecasting and risk analytics. He is responsible for hedging and offtake analysis, as well as the development and maintenance of forecasting and risk metrics to support structured products and options strategies.
With 12+ years of experience in the energy industry, Brett has a diverse and extensive background that includes working in the federal, state, and private sectors. Before joining GridStor, he held roles focused on market analytics, first at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) and then at Clearway Energy Group. Brett began his career as an economist at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) working on RTO policy and market intelligence. He has a double bachelor’s degree in math and economics from the University of Arizona, providing a strong foundation for his work in the energy industry.
