Monica Testa
VP of Origination & Power Marketing
Monica is focused on securing long-term revenue agreements for GridStor’s portfolio of battery storage assets. Monica brings transaction expertise from over 3GW of executed PPAs with dozens of Fortune 500 customers across ERCOT, SPP, MISO, & WECC, all of which have achieved start of construction or operation. She has over 15 years of experience in clean energy – including a decade focused on onshore wind, solar, and battery storage origination. Prior to joining GridStor, Monica was Head of Origination at Ørsted, where she led the team responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing PPA offtake for Ørsted’s onshore wind, solar, and storage pipeline across North America. She holds an MA from the University of California – Berkeley’s Energy & Resources Group and a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.
